Spanish Conversation Club for Adults
Do you know a little Spanish, but have a hard time holding a conversation? This beginner’s Spanish club can help you to brush up on your skills!

Internet Classes In Arabic. Gateway / Al-Bawaba Internet Classes
Class dates and times to be determined at three library branch locations: Rancho San Diego, Casa de Oro, and El Cajon. Classes for beginners take place at El Cajon. For additional information, contact Safa Arabo at (619) 469-2151 or (619) 312-5716.
The Rancho San Diego Classes for returning students are scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays, starting on Wednesday November 14 though Wednesday December 13.

Using the Mouse and Keyboard
This class for beginners helps participants become familiar with the mouse and keyboard. Saturday December 1, 9-10 a.m.

Introduction to the World Wide Web
Learn how to use a Web browser and how to search with search engines and web directories. Saturdays: November 17 & December 15, 9-10 a.m.

Introduction to Windows
Learn the basics of using Windows to work with computer programs and manipulate documents. Please bring a floppy disk or USB flash drive.

Trails and Rails

Entertaining storytelling with stories personally selected by our Grandparent Storyteller. Mondays, 10 a.m.-12 noon.


Paws to Read
Children read to therapy dog Sonny, a golden retriever, to gain confidence and practice reading aloud.

Anime/Manga Club
Each week we discuss topics in Anime/Manga, watch old and new episodes of Anime, and practice drawing characters.
Wednesdays, 4-5 p.m.


Chess Club
Play in the tournament or just practice with your friends.
Thursdays, 3:30-5 p.m.


Axis & Allies Club
Take either side and lead your country to victory in this board game based on World War II. Now also featuring D-Day; choose to defend Fortress Europe as Germany or assault with the Allied forces of the United Kingdom and the United States!
